Discover Étretat's Magnificent Cliffs
Experience one of France's most stunning coastal landscapes with our exclusive private tour to Étretat's famous white chalk cliffs and natural arches
Welcome to Étretat, where nature has sculpted one of the world's most spectacular coastal masterpieces. Rising majestically from the English Channel, these dramatic white chalk cliffs have captivated artists, writers, and travelers for centuries. Our private tour offers you an intimate discovery of this natural wonder, with your certified bilingual driver-guide revealing the geological marvels, artistic heritage, and hidden viewpoints that make Étretat unforgettable.
The Legendary Natural Arches
Marvel at Étretat's three iconic natural arches carved by millennia of wind and waves. The Porte d'Aval with its adjacent needle-like rock formation (L'Aiguille), the majestic Porte d'Amont, and the spectacular Manneporte - each offers breathtaking views and photographic opportunities. Your guide will lead you to the best vantage points and share the geological stories behind these extraordinary formations.
In Monet's Footsteps
Walk in the footsteps of Claude Monet, who painted Étretat's cliffs more than 80 times, capturing their ever-changing light and moods. We'll visit the exact locations where Impressionist masters set up their easels, and you'll understand why this coastal landscape became one of the most painted scenes in art history. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the artists who found inspiration here.
Clifftop Panoramas
Experience spectacular clifftop walks with panoramic views stretching across the English Channel. Stand atop the 80-meter-high cliffs and gaze at the endless horizon, the charming pebble beach below, and the stunning succession of arches and cliffs along the coast. Each viewpoint offers a different perspective of this natural amphitheater, and your guide knows the best spots for unforgettable photographs.
The Gardens of Étretat
Discover the enchanting Jardins d'Étretat, a contemporary garden featuring sculptural topiaries, modern art installations, and spectacular cliff views. This unique garden blends natural beauty with artistic vision, offering a refreshing contrast to the wild coastal landscape. Optional visit can be included in full-day tours.

Belinda's Insider Tip
"For the most magical experience, consider a late afternoon visit. The golden hour light transforms the white cliffs into shades of pink and gold, creating the same luminous atmosphere that captivated Monet. I know a quiet spot on the clifftop where you can watch the sunset over the arches - it's absolutely breathtaking and far from the crowds."
